crying at work
i call this a personal blog but I rarely talk about my day-to-day life because in 20 years when i look back at this blog, I'm going to call myself boring.
But today i literally started tearing up because i misplaced a receipt for a $1800 expense. All i had to do is fill out a "missing receipt affidavit" but I did not want to do that.
I searched my whole office; i checked everything 3x. it wasn't there.
I almost drafted my 2 weeks notice. I really hate making mistakes at work, especially with my position being the only person in my department who does what I do (everything administrative). Like expense reports are a basic duty of the job and I messed it up.
long story short. the receipt was in my room at home, it fell out of my bag somehow.
I'll live.
